LEARN Regional Educational Service Center administers seven magnet schools in Connecticut and believes it is important to provide a  high quality Food Service Program at each of our schools.  SLA Management currently coordinates the Food Service Programs at six LEARN magnet schools.  SLA Management provides school meal programs at private and charter schools throughout Florida, Georgia and Connecticut.  They offer diverse, quality meal selections, everyday.  All menus are registered dietician approved.  SLA is dedicated to giving students the best 30 minutes of their day; offering healthy, delicious meal options, served in a friendly, positive dinning environment. Children who eat well-balanced meals and are physically healthy are more likely to learn in the classroom.  The link between good nutrition and good education is clearly demonstrated by better attendance, higher test scores, and fewer behavioral problems in school.  Click here to read LEARN's full Student Nutrition and Physical Activity: Student Wellness Policy (#6118).
