Early Childhood Services

  • Education Opportunities (Professional Development)

Increase competencies for early childhood professionals through workshops, study groups and roundtable discussions. Opportunities available for early childhood program administrators, classroom teachers and assistants, parents and all who teach and care for young children. We can also provide on-site, individualized coaching based on the needs of the program and the staff.

  • Consultation

Provide the most developmentally appropriate early learning experiences for young children, strengthen program quality and meet state and national standards. Telephone and on-site consultation is available regarding program and classroom environment, curriculum, and planning.

  • Council Development

Engage a broad-based group of community stakeholders concerned with the well-being and school success of young children. With experience in community collaboration and early childhood policy & practice, we will work with your community to support the development and implementation of an Early Childhood Council.

  • Accreditation Support-NAEYC

Provide support and technical assistance. for licensed programs working toward accreditation through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

  • Curriculum Assessment and Learning

Offer training, coaching and program support related to implementing the Cycle of Intentional Teaching using the CT Early Learning and Development Standards. Services are individualized based on Best Practice and program/staff needs.

  • Facilitation, Planning and Coordination

Promote networking and collaboration within communities, allow team members full participation in the planning process, and remove the stress of grant coordination and deadlines. External facilitation and grant coordination allow groups to develop short and long-term plans for the delivery of comprehensive quality programs for young children and families. Consultation regarding best practice for transitioning children to kindergarten is available as part of the planning process.
