Eastern CT Health & Medical Cooperative

The Eastern CT Health and Medical Cooperative (ECHMC) was established on July 1, 2013. The purpose of ECHMC is to provide an opportunity for municipalities and regional boards of education to join together and achieve regional efficiencies when providing medical or health care benefits for employees. 

ECHMC is governed by a Board of Directors, comprised of two individuals from each partner. Our goal is to ensure long-term regional efficiencies and savings for dental, prescription drug coverage, and medical coverage. ECHMC is committed to consolidating medial health plans and to offering a number of cost-effective plan choices to participants. We are committed to supporting future wellness programs to support the health of our employees.
