LEARN Has a New Food Service Management Company
Effective July 1, 2023, LEARN has a new Food Service Management Company. A committee reviewed the Request for Proposal (RFP) responses that were submitted. The process was extremely detailed with a detailed review of each submission (each submission was approximately 200 pages). LEARN worked very closely with the Connecticut State Department of Education’s Food and Nutrition Department and after a 5-month process, the CSDE approved the committee’s recommendation for Whitson's School Nutrition as our new Food Service Management Company.
We are excited with this new partnership and look forward to providing excellent, fresh, healthy food choices for each student.
